a mechanical 'work of art'

After a long time in planning and development, we took delivery (yesterday) of what i think is a mechanical modern marvel -'a work of art'.
This television mechanism will feature in one of four custom cabinets in our soon to be completed Petrie Terrace Residence project.
Of course once fitting is complete, the whole operation will be via a remote control device.
Keep posted for images of completed project...

Cinco Bistro & (upcoming) Bar...well underway

Phorm Interiors recently started onsite works on Cinco Bistro's 'knock thru' reno/extensions that will include an intimate bar area, large wine display and added seating for regular fans (which includes myself) of Peter Stubbs cooking.
Some years ago Phorm Interiors were employed to update the interior of Cinco that included a smart upholstered wall (image above) in Florence Broadhurst fabric that provided a great sound proofing solution and a wonderfully, strong feature that has become a distinctive addition to the bistro's atmosphere.
We needed to add strength to the bottom NEW half of the area and have successfully done so with exotic hand-made tiles and iconic designer lighting over the bar.
I will keep you posted with updates...

Tara Guest House - Sydney .au

The wording featured on The Tara Guest House says is well and I quote :: "Think faded glory outside as per Venice and Firenze with clean creative spaces therein, imagine tall ceilings with French doors opening onto large verandahs – More Corbusier than Chippendale, not too twee, not too quiet, more boho than 5 star, more artist’s digs than the Hilton or a cottage in the country! It has to be said that we offer an urban experience as per Soho, New York, rather than a sojourn in an English rural setting. This is comfortable, informal accommodation and our guests are many and varied including businesspeople, academics, travellers of all ages from home and abroad, architects, writers, musicians, actors and other creative souls with an eye to the good life. We extend a warm welcome to travellers one and all and hope this will be your preferred place to stay when visiting Sydney."

Inside (Interior Design Review) Magazine recently featured a wonderful 5 page article/spread of our work on a Kangaroo Point, Brisbane apartment.
The feature entitled 'BIG in Brisbane', strongly showcased the interior architectural works of leading Brisbane Architects and Designers.
