The Ace Hotel, Portland, opened in March 2007 .Design team Alex Calderwood, Wade Weigel and Doug Herrick had an idea to create the kind of place that their friends would want to stay.
Apart from being amazingly cool - they have Malin + Goetz bathroom products.
